Tim White

David Browning as the "Mayberry Deputy"

As a humorist, story teller, banjo picker, guitar player and singer Tim has spent his entire adult life entertaining. He coordinated and hosted the nationally syndicated public television concert series “Song of the Mountains” for over a decade. Song of the Mountains as seen across America on over 190 outlets reaching millions of people featuring bluegrass, old time, Celtic, gospel and Americana music.


Additionally Tim has been broadcasting his nationally syndicated “The Tim White Bluegrass Show” on radio for over a decade as well as broadcasting a local program over the years in the Tri-Cities region of Bristol, TN-VA He has entertained in several bands as well including Troublesome Hollow and the VW Boys mixing music, magic and comedy in their performances.


Tim White is also an artist who painted two notable murals in Southwestern Virginia and East Tennessee. He painted the “Bristol-Birthplace-Country Music” mural on State Street in Bristol, TN in 1986 and more recently completed the “Marion Musical Heritage Mural” on Main Street in Marion, VA in the fall of 2014.
